On March 14, 2006, the registrant issued a press release announcing that the registrant will file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q later that day and issue an earnings release of its financial results for the fiscal 2006 second quarter ended January 28, 2006 on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 before the opening of the stock market. The registrant also provided information with respect to the management conference call scheduled to be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2006.

FISCAL 2006 SECOND QUARTER EARNINGS RELEASE AND CONFERENCE CALL

VALHALLA, NY – March 14, 2006 -- Del Global Technologies Corp. (DGTC) (“Del Global”) today announced that it will file its Form 10-Q later today and issue an earnings release of its financial results for the fiscal 2006 second quarter ended January 28, 2006 on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 before the opening of the stock market. Management will conduct a conference call on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 4:00 pm Eastern Time to discuss these results.
