FITCH UPGRADES DPL DEBT RATINGS

 

DAYTON, Ohio, April 6, 2006 – Fitch Ratings today announced upgrades of the debt ratings of DPL Inc. (NYSE: DPL) and its principal subsidiary, The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L). The ratings by Fitch of both DPL and DP&L bonds are considered investment grade.

 

“Today’s action by Fitch is a positive reflection of the recent steps we’ve taken to strengthen our balance sheet and improve our credit profile,” said Bob Biggs, Executive Chairman, DPL Inc.
