     Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
     On April 13, 2007, the Board of Directors of Cousins Properties Incorporated (the “Company”) appointed Daniel M. DuPree as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. DuPree’s previous title was Vice Chairman of the Company.
     Prior to April 13, 2007, Thomas D. Bell, Jr. held the positions of President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board . Mr. Bell relinquished the role of President in connection with Mr. DuPree’s appointment. Mr. Bell continues as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
