Item 7.01 | Regulation FD Disclosure |
On August 24 and August 25, 2020, five nominees of the Harold E. Riley Foundation (the "Foundation") filed Form 3s with the Securities Exchange Commission reporting that they were members of the board of directors of Citizens, Inc. (the "Company"). It should be noted that these five nominees are not members of the board of the Company. Rather, they have been submitted by the Foundation as potential director candidates and they will be reviewed and evaluated by the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the board, as are all nominees to the board, under the Company's corporate governance principles.
