Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

Citizens, Inc. (the “Company”) announced it will be conducting a nationwide search for a lead operations position. The Company has made the decision to increase its strategic focus and investment in the transformation of its systems, processes and technology in the operations area and will be seeking an accomplished leader with proven expertise and an established track record in digital and operational transformation. On November 8, 2019, Amanda L. Crews announced her resignation from the position of Vice President, Operations of the Company effective November 27, 2019 to pursue a Human Resources opportunity with another company. The Company’s CEO, Geoff Kolander, thanked Mrs. Crews for the project management expertise she brought to the Company’s operations over the past year.
