Summary of CECONY Electric & Gas Filing - Company Update On January 28, 2022, CECONY submitted to the NYSPSC a rate case in support of new electric and gas rates to become effective January 1, 2023. On April 8, 2022, CECONY filed an update to the January 28, 2022 request. On May 20, 2022, the New York State Department of Public Service submitted testimony in the NYSPSC proceedings, supporting electric and gas rate increases of $278 million and $164 million, respectively, reflecting, among other things, a lower level of forecasted rate base for 2023.
