See Note 3, "Regulatory Accounting," for information regarding the February 2014 PURA decision on CL&P's request for approval to recover the restoration costs of the 2012 and 2011 major storms. See Note 12C, "Commitments and Contingencies - Contractual Obligations - Yankee Companies," for information regarding a January 2014 letter received from the U.S. Department of Justice stating that the DOE will not appeal the court's final judgment on the Yankee Companies' lawsuits against the DOE.
