Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On February 21, 2023, Adams Resources & Energy, Inc., a Delaware corporation, issued a press release announcing a cash dividend of $0.24 per common share payable on March 24, 2023 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 10, 2023. QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND

Houston, Texas (Tuesday, February 21, 2023) -- Adams Resources & Energy, Inc. (NYSE AMERICAN: AE) (“Adams” or the “Company”) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.24 per common share for the fourth quarter of 2022, payable on March 24, 2023 to shareholders of record as of close of business on March 10, 2023.

Kevin J. Roycraft, Adams’ Chief Executive Officer and President, commented, “We are pleased to declare another regular cash dividend for the benefit of our shareholders. We have consistently paid a dividend for more than 25 years, which is a direct result of our unwavering focus on ensuring the stability of our business and the strength of our corporate financial position.”
