     On December 14, 2006, Grubb & Ellis Company (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that Shelby Sherard has submitted her resignation as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 29, 2006. The Company also announced that, effective December 29, 2006, Don Olinger, the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, would act as the Company’s interim Chief Financial Officer until a new Chief Financial Officer is named, and that the Company is actively seeking a new Chief Financial Officer.
