Regulation FD Disclosure

As previously disclosed, on April 14, 2020, Frontier Communications Corporation (the “Company”) and all of its direct and indirect subsidiaries (together with the Company, the “Company
Parties”) filed voluntary petitions under chapter 11 (the “Chapter 11 Cases”) of title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the “Bankruptcy Court”). On August 21, 2020, the
Company Parties filed the Fifth Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization of Frontier Communications Corporation and Its Debtor Affiliates Pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (the “Plan”) with the Bankruptcy Court, which then approved and
confirmed the Plan on August 27, 2020.
On March 11, 2021, the Company (as it may be reorganized pursuant to the Plan, the “Borrower”) and certain of its subsidiaries (together with the Borrower, the “Loan Parties”)
entered into a commitment letter (the “Commitment Letter”) with certain existing noteholders and/or their affiliates (the “Commitment Parties”) pursuant to which, and subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including the Company
Parties’ emergence from the Chapter 11 Cases, the Commitment Parties have agreed to provide the Borrower with an incremental term loan facility in an aggregate principal amount of $225 million (the loans borrowed thereunder, the “Incremental
Term Loans”). The Incremental Term Loans are expected to be fungible with and on the same terms as the Loan Parties’ existing term loans and have the same CUSIP numbers and other identifiers.
The information being furnished under this Item 7.01 of this Current Report shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the
