The recorded investment in loans is presented in the Consolidated Balance Sheets net of deferred loan fees and costs, and discounts on purchased loans. Net deferred loan costs were $11.5 million at December 31, 2023 and $9.6 million at December 31, 2022. The un-accreted discount on purchased loans from acquisitions was $13.5 million at December 31, 2023 and $18.0 million at December 31, 2022.
