Southern Union Company (the “Company”) today issued a press release announcing that it recently received approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to place its Trunkline LNG Company, LLC  Infrastructure Enhancement Project (“IEP”) into service.
 
 
 
The press release, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, also contains previously issued financial guidance relating to the expected annual impact of IEP on the Company. The financial guidance presented in the press release is provided under Item 7.01 of Form 8-K and shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, nor shall it be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, except as expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
