Resignation of Chih Young Hung
On June 20, 2024, Mr. Chih Young Hung notified International Media Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”) that he is resigning from the board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company effective immediately. Mr. Hung’s resignation was not as a result of any disagreement with the Company or the Board. Mr. Hung was a member of the Company’s Compensation Committee and Audit Committee.
Item 8.01. Other Events
On June 25, 2024, the Company made a deposit of $20,000 (the “Extension Payment”) to the trust account to extend the period of time the Company has to consummate an initial business combination from July 2, 2024 to August 2, 2024.
