Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 5, 2022, Franklin BSP Capital Corporation (“FBCC”), together with Franklin BSP Lending Corporation (“FBLC”), each of which is a business development company advised by affiliates of Benefit Street Partners L.L.C., issued a press release announcing that FBCC and FBLC acquired substantially all of the equity interests of Encina Equipment Finance, LLC.

A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
