Income Taxes	Income Taxes The provision for income taxes in the first quarter reflects an estimated annual effective tax rate of 29.5 percent, excluding the item discussed below, compared with 30 percent for the first quarter of 2012. The first quarter of 2013 tax provision also includes a benefit of $87 million primarily related to the research and development tax credit that was retroactively extended for 2012.
