Issuance of Press Release

On December 21, 2022, MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that the Company will hold an earnings call to discuss its financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2021 on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. During the call, the Company’s management will host a presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period.

The press release and a copy of the management presentation are being furnished as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, to this report on Form 6-K, and shall not be deemed to be “filed” for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section.
