As previously reported, on October 21, 2020, the China Xiangtai Food Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) received a letter from the Listings Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) notifying the Company that the minimum closing bid price per share for its ordinary shares was below $1.00 for a period of 30 consecutive business days and that the Company did not meet the minimum bid price requirement set forth in Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). The Company was provided with 180 days, or until April 19, 2021, to regain compliance with the Rule. As a result of the Company’s ordinary shares closing with a bid price of at least $1.00 for at least 10 consecutive days, on February 19, 2021, Nasdaq notified the Company that it has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) and the matter is now closed.
