Item 5.02 | Appointment of Officer. |
On February 15, 2018, Alliance MMA, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: AMMA) announced that it has appointed Ira S. Rainess as the Company’s President, effective immediately.
Mr. Rainess, age 50, has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Business Affairs since May 2017 and, prior to that, acted as a consultant to the Company. Mr. Rainess has served as the head of the Sports & Entertainment Law practice at Silverman, Thompson, Slutkin & White for the past 13 years. A member of the Maryland Bar, he is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
The terms of Mr. Rainess’s compensation have not yet been determined. In accordance with Instruction 2 of Item 5.02 of Form 8-K, the Company will amend this Current Report on Form 8-K within four business days after such information is determined or becomes available.
