Organization and Basis of Presentation	Organization NovoCure Limited (including its consolidated subsidiaries, the "Company") was incorporated in the Bailiwick of Jersey and is principally engaged in the development, manufacture and commercialization of Tumor Treating Fields delivery systems, including Optune and NovoTTF-100L (our "Products"), for the treatment of solid tumor cancers. The Company has received regulatory approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") under the Premarket Approval pathway and regulatory approvals and clearances in certain other countries for Optune to treat adult patients with glioblastoma. The Company also has received FDA approval under the Humanitarian Device Exemption pathway to market NovoTTF-100L for unresectable, locally advanced or metastatic malignant pleural mesothelioma in combination with standard chemotherapies. During the year ended December 31, 2019, the Company implemented changes to its corporate entity operating structure, including transferring certain intellectual property to its Swiss subsidiary, primarily to align corporate entities with the Company’s evolving operations and business model.
