Item 5.02                   Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

 

(b)           On February 16, 2018, Michael T. Doyle resigned from the Board of Directors of Surgery Partners, Inc. (the “Company”) after more than a decade of service to the Company.  During his tenure, Mr. Doyle was instrumental in successfully building Surgery Partners from just a few Ambulatory Surgery Centers to one of the leading providers of outpatient surgical procedures in the country. We thank Mr. Doyle for his many years of leadership and for continuing to serve on the Board of Directors to help ensure a successful transition.  We wish Mr. Doyle continued success in his future endeavors.
