INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT

This Tender Offer Statement on Schedule TO is filed by The Gabelli Go Anywhere Trust (the “Fund”) and relates to a pre-commencement communication by the Fund with respect to the Fund’s common shares of beneficial interest, par value $0.001 per share (“Common Shares”).

On August 2, 2021, the Fund issued a press release announcing the Fund’s intention to commence a tender offer to purchase for cash all of the Fund’s issued and outstanding Common Shares. The tender offer will only be made to current holders of Common Shares (“Shareholders”). The tender offer will commence on August 3, 2021, and will expire at 5:00 p.m., Eastern time on Friday, September 24, 2021, unless otherwise extended. Subject to various terms and conditions described in the offering materials to be distributed to Shareholders, purchases will be made at a price equal to 98% of the net asset value per Common Share.

Upon commencement of the tender offer, the Fund will file with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) a Schedule TO containing an offer to purchase, a form of letter of transmittal and related exhibits. These documents will contain important information about the tender offer and Shareholders are urged to read them carefully when they become available. Shareholders may obtain free copies of the “Tender Offer Statement” and other documents (when they become available) filed with the SEC at the SEC’s web site at www.sec.gov.
