Item 5.02.          Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 7, 2018, Kenneth W. Long, III, VP, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Nutanix, Inc. (the “Company”), notified the Company that he will resign from his position as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer, effective immediately after the filing of the Company’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended October 31, 2018. With Mr. Long’s resignation, Mr. Aaron Boynton, a long-standing member of the Company’s accounting team, will be stepping into the role of Vice President and Corporate Controller. Mr. Long will stay with the Company through February 1, 2019 to assist with the transition. The Company thanks Mr. Long for his years of service to the Company.
