(b) On March 14, 2019, John T. Reilly, Chief Operating Officer of SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. (“SeaWorld” or the “Company”), informed the Company of his intention to resign from such position with the Company and from any office at any affiliated entity of SeaWorld, effective March 31, 2019.

On March 19, 2019, the Company issued a press release to announce the departure of Mr. Reilly. The full text of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

ORLANDO, FL, Mar. 19, 2019 — SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: SEAS), a leading theme park and entertainment company, announced today that Chief Operating Officer John T. Reilly is leaving the Company effective March 31, 2019.
