MasTec Announces Fourth Quarter 2003
Earnings Release Schedule

MIAMI (March 30, 2004) — MasTec, Inc. (NYSE: MTZ) today announced that the Company intends to release earnings for the year ended December 31, 2003 during the week of April 5, 2004. The related conference call and webcast information will be announced at that time.

The Company had previously filed a Form 12b-25 with the SEC for an extension and had estimated a filing on, or before, March 30th.
