414 THOUSAND TONS IN FIRST QUARTER 2014

Lisle, IL (April 4, 2014) – SunCoke Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SXCP) today reported preliminary first quarter 2014 coke production at its Haverhill and Middletown facilities totaling 414 thousand tons, down from 442 thousand tons in first quarter 2013. The portion of this production attributable to SXCP, which owns a 65 percent interest in both facilities, is 269 thousand tons in first quarter 2014 versus 287 thousand tons for the same prior year period. The year-over-year decline reflects the impact of severe winter weather on coke production and yield performance, primarily at our Haverhill facility.

Capacity utilization at Haverhill and Middletown collectively was 102 percent in the first quarter 2014 as compared to 109 percent in the prior year period.
