STORE Capital Appoints Rajath Shourie to Board of Directors

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- STORE Capital Corporation (NYSE: STOR), an internally managed net-lease real estate investment trust (REIT) that invests in Single Tenant Operational Real Estate, announced today the appointment of Rajath Shourie to its Board of Directors, effective February 13, 2019.  Mr. Shourie is re-joining STORE Capital’s Board after previously serving as a Board member from 2011 to 2016.

Following the appointment of Mr. Shourie, STORE Capital’s Board is now comprised of nine directors, seven of whom are independent.

Mr. Shourie is a Managing Director and co-portfolio manager within Oaktree’s Distressed Debt group.  Prior to joining Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. in 2002, he worked in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. Mr. Shourie earned a B.A. in economics from Harvard University. He then went on to receive an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
