Subsequent Event	12. Subsequent Event In July 2015, the Company formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Akebia Europe Limited. This subsidiary will be the Company’s legal representative in the European Union, interacting with European regulatory agencies. In July 2015, AKB-6548 was assigned “vadadustat” as the United States Adopted Name, or USAN.
