Item 5.02 - Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On March 14, 2023, Bonnie M. Edeus, Vice President and Controller of SunCoke Energy, Inc. (the “Company”), the designated principal accounting officer of the Company, informed the Company of her intention to resign, effective March 31, 2023.
Following Ms. Edeus’ resignation, the responsibilities of principal accounting officer will be performed by Mark W. Marinko, the Company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Marinko will continue to serve as the Company’s principal financial officer.
