Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

As previously disclosed, the board of directors of American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. (the “Company”) has authorized and the Company declared an annual dividend of $0.890 per share to be paid monthly to stockholders of record at the close of business on the 8^th day of each month, payable on the 15^th day of such month. Accordingly, on October 15, 2012, the Company will pay a distribution of $0.07417 per share to stockholders of record at the close of business on October 8, 2012.

Announces Monthly Distribution for October 2012

New York, New York, September 27, 2012 — American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: ARCP) announced today that, pursuant to the prior authorization of its board of directors, the Company has declared an annual dividend of $0.890 per share to be paid monthly to stockholders of record at the close of business on the 8^th day of each month, payable on the 15^th day of such month.
