EXPLANATORY NOTE 

On May 2, 2018, SodaStream International Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its first quarter results for the period ended March 31, 2018.  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 herewith.

In conjunction with the conference call being held on May 2, 2018, the Company also is releasing a PowerPoint presentation with additional information relating to the first quarter results for the period ended March 31, 2018, which is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.2.
