ALLIANCE BANCORP, INC. OF PENNSYLVANIA
ANNOUNCES NEW STOCK REPURCHASE PROGRAM

Broomall, Pennsylvania –  December 12, 2013 – Alliance Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania (the “Company”) (NASDAQ Global Market: ALLB), the holding company for Alliance Bank, announced today that it has repurchased 409,700 shares of common stock under its previously announced stock repurchase program, which has only 83,000 shares remaining for repurchase, and the Company’s Board of Directors approved a new stock repurchase program of up to 10% of its outstanding shares, or 451,730 shares of common stock, upon completion of the existing program.  The shares may be purchased in the open market or in privately negotiated transactions from time to time depending upon market conditions and other factors over a one-year period.
 
Dennis D. Cirucci, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated "We are pleased to announce our third share repurchase program, which reflects our continuing commitment to manage our capital prudently and in a manner which should enhance shareholder value."  Mr. Cirucci further stated “The Company has completed the repurchase of 409,700 shares of common stock under our previously announced second stock repurchase program, which commenced in September 2013 and has only 83,000 shares remaining for repurchase.”
 
Alliance Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania is the holding company for Alliance Bank, a Pennsylvania chartered, FDIC-insured savings bank headquartered in Broomall, Pennsylvania.  Alliance Bank operates eight full-service branch offices located in Delaware and Chester Counties, Pennsylvania.
