Spirit Airlines Reports April2014 Traffic

MIRAMAR, Fla. (May 7, 2014) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today reported its preliminary traffic results for April2014.

Traffic (revenue passenger miles) in April2014 increased 23.8 percent versus April2013 on a capacity (available seat miles) increase of 17.9 percent. Load factor for April2014 was 85.8 percent, an increase of 4.2 points as compared to April2013. Spirit's preliminary completion factor for April2014 was 99.7 percent.
