Spirit Airlines Reports July 2013 Traffic

Miramar, Florida (August 12, 2013) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today reported its preliminary traffic results for July 2013.
Traffic (revenue passenger miles) in July 2013 increased 24.6 percent versus July 2012 on a capacity (available seat miles) increase of 20.5 percent. Load factor for July 2013 was 91.4 percent, an increase of 3.0 points as compared to July 2012. Spirit's preliminary completion factor for July 2013 was 98.7 percent.
The following table summarizes Spirit's traffic results for the month and year-to-date ended July 31, 2013 and 2012.
