Appendix 4C

Quarter Ended 30 September 2014

San Diego, California and Sydney, Australia (Friday, 31 October 2014, AEDT) — REVA Medical, Inc. (ASX: RVA) (“REVA” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide the attached Appendix 4C Quarterly Report for the quarter ended 30 September 2014. The Appendix 4C is unaudited.

Third Quarter Highlights

During the third quarter of 2014, the Company’s operating activities focused on the development and testing of its FantomTM scaffold, a next generation drug-eluting bioresorbable coronary scaffold, in preparation of planned clinical studies of the scaffold. Fantom utilizes REVA’s advanced proprietary polymer that allows for thinner strut thickness, enhanced deliverability, and a unibody design, while maintaining its unique radiopaque properties (visibility under x-ray).

During the third quarter, the Company continued its efforts to prepare for the clinical study of Fantom. It is qualifying up to 30 clinical sites in Brazil and Europe, as well as contracting with hospitals and providing the data and documentation for regulatory approvals. First implants with Fantom are planned during the Company’s fourth quarter.

Appendix 4C

As of 30 September 2014, the Company’s cash balance was US$6,297,000. The current quarter end cash balance reflects a decrease of US$2,682,000 from the 30 June 2014 quarter end balance of US$8,979,000, primarily as a result of expenditures related to normal operating activities.

The Company plans to file its Form 10-Q Quarterly Report (the “Quarterly Report”) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and with the Australian Securities Exchange on or before 7 November 2014. The Quarterly Report provides financial statements, along with Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations, for the quarter ended 30 September 2014.

REVA’s quarterly briefing call is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. AEDT on Wednesday, 12 November 2014 (which is 2:00 p.m. US PST on Tuesday, November 11, 2014). The Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Robert Stockman, will host the call and provide an operational update and financial results through 30 September 2014. Call-in details will be provided approximately one week ahead of the call.

About REVA

REVA is a development stage medical device company located in San Diego, California, USA, that is focused on the development, testing, and eventual commercialization of its proprietary bioresorbable stents, which are called “scaffolds” because of their temporary nature. The Company’s scaffolds are being developed as an alternative to metal stents, which are small tube-like devices permanently implanted into an artery to treat coronary artery disease. Scaffolds provide restoration of blood flow, support the artery through the healing process, then disappear (or “resorb”) from the body over a period of time. This resorption allows the return of natural movement and function of the artery, a result not attainable with permanent metal stents. The Company has conducted clinical studies of its scaffold technologies; a total of 112 patients were enrolled in its most recent clinical trial in Australia, Brazil, Europe, and New Zealand, with enrollment completed during January 2014. The patients in this trial will be followed for a total of five years, with primary data to be obtained at nine and 12 months. The Company is now developing and testing its FantomTM scaffold, with initial human implants planned for late 2014 at multiple centers in Brazil and Europe. The Fantom scaffold has been designed to offer distinct ease-of-use features including complete scaffold visibility under x-ray, expansion with one continuous inflation, no procedural time limitations, and standard storage and handling. REVA will require successful clinical results and regulatory approval before it can commercialize Fantom or any of its other products.
