Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events On July 12, 2013, Chatham Lodging Trust entered into an agreement to acquire a Hampton Inn and Suites in the northeastern United States for $15.2 million. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013, subject to satisfactory completion of due diligence and customary closing conditions. The Company intends to fund the purchase price with available cash and borrowings under the Company's secured revolving credit facility.
