Other Events

On December 17, 2013 in Hong Kong, China Cord Blood Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the results of its 2013 Annual General Meeting, which was held on December 16, 2013, in Hong Kong. At the 2013 Annual General Meeting, shareholders: (1) elected Mr. Albert Chen and Mr. Mark Chen to serve on the Board of Directors until the 2016 annual general meeting of the Company or until their respective successors are duly appointed and qualified; and (2) ratified the appointment of KPMG as independent auditor of the Company for the financial year ending March 31, 2014, and authorized any duly formed committee of the Board of Directors to set the remuneration of the auditors.
