Cost of revenue principally includes payroll and employee benefits associated with personnel employed in customer service, operations and technology roles, fees paid to external providers related to the provision of services, reimbursable expenses, technology and telecommunications costs as well as depreciation and amortization of operating assets. The components of cost of revenue were as follows:

Transactions with Related Parties
In May 2022, John G. Aldridge, Jr., the Managing Partner of Aldridge Pite LLP (“Aldridge Pite”), joined the Board of Directors of Altisource. Aldridge Pite provides eviction and other real estate related services to the Company. The Company recognized $0.3 million and $0.5 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2023 of reimbursable expenses relating to services provided to Aldridge Pite (no comparable amount for the three and six months ended June 30, 2022). As of June 30, 2023, the Company had no payable to Aldridge Pite.
