Item 7.01Regulation FD Disclosure

On May 10, 2023, Transocean Ltd. (“the Company”) announced a contract award for one of its harsh environment semisubmersibles, Transocean Equinox. The award represents approximately $137 million in firm contact backlog, excluding full payment for mobilization and a demobilization fee.
