Update to Response to Inquiry relating to Press Reports

In respect of the Report on Form 6-K submitted by KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”) on December 13, 2010 disclosing KB Financial Group’s response to an official inquiry received from the Korea Exchange on the same date, KB Financial Group disclosed on July 11, 2011, that while it is discussing with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (“ICBC”) various ways of business alliance in the investment banking sector, it is not currently pursuing the establishment of a joint investment company with ICBC.
