Ecopetrol reports senior management changes

Ecopetrol S.A. (BVC: ECOPETROL; NYSE: EC) announces that, in order to continue the process of integrating the workforce to address the Company´s new challenges, the following members of its management are retiring from the Company as of today:

1. Jürgen Loeber Rojas, Vice President Offshore.

Elsa Jaimes Romero, current Vice President of Exploration, will serve as Vice President Offshore, until the appointment of the new position.

2.       Alex Millán Ochoa, Sourcing Manager and alternate legal representative for Goods and Services sourcing purposes.

Ecopetrol S.A. expresses gratitude to Jürgen Gerardo Loeber Rojas and Alex Millán Ochoa for their valuable leadership and contributions to the achievements of the Ecopetrol Group and wishes them great success in their new professional challenges.
