RELEVANT EVENT

In compliance with article 82 of the Financial Markets Legislation (Ley del Mercado de Valores), GRIFOLS, S.A. (“Grifols”) informs that it has reached a new agreement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), by which Grifols will provide at least 30 days notice before consummating the acquisition of Talecris Biotherapeutics Holding Corp (the “Transaction”) and, in any event, will not consummate the transaction before March 21, 2011.
