RELEVANT EVENT

In compliance with article 82 of the Financial Markets Legislation (Ley del Mercado de Valores), GRIFOLS, S.A. (“Grifols”) informs that it has reached an agreement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), to extend the timing of the resolution for the acquisition of Talecris Biotherapeutics Holding Corp. stated on the Registration document filed on January 21^st, 2011. A resolution is foreseen no later than March 6^th, 2011 unless an early favorable resolution is granted.
