The Company capitalized software development costs of $7.4 million and $6.3 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively.

Amortization expense for capitalized software development costs was $2.0 million and $1.8 million for the three months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively. Amortization expense for capitalized software development costs was $5.8 million and

$5.1 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2020 and 2019, respectively. Amortization of capitalized software development costs is classified within cost of revenue in the consolidated statements of operations.
