EXPLANATORY NOTE
  
This Post-Effective Amendment No. 57 to the Registrant’s Registration Statement on Form N-1A is being filed pursuant to paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of Rule 485 of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “1933 Act”), solely for the purpose of delaying, until February 19, 2012, the effectiveness of the registration statement for the Global X MLP Infrastructure ETF and Global X MLP Natural Gas ETF (the “Funds”), filed in Post-Effective Amendment No. 30 on April 15, 2011, pursuant to paragraph (a) of Rule 485 of the 1933 Act.  The effectiveness of the Registration Statement of the Funds was delayed in Post-Effective Amendment No. 35 on June 28, 2011, in Post-Effective Amendment No. 39 on July 28, 2011, in Post-Effective Amendment No. 40 on August 26, 2011, in Post-Effective Amendment No. 42 on September 23, 2011, in Post-Effective Amendment No. 49 on October 25, 2011, in Post-Effective Amendment No. 53 on November 23, and in Post-Effective Amendment No. 55 on December 21, each pursuant to paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of Rule 485 of the 1940 Act.
