Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On July 26, 2018, FS Investment Corporation announced that it will host a conference call at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday, August 10, 2018, to discuss its second quarter 2018 results.  A copy of the press release announcing the conference call is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

FSIC Announces Earnings Release and Conference Call Schedule For Second Quarter 2018

PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 26, 2018 – FS Investment Corporation (NYSE: FSIC) announced today plans to release its second quarter 2018 results after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, August 9, 2018.

FSIC will host a conference call at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday, August 10, 2018, to discuss its second quarter 2018 results. All interested parties are welcome to participate and can access the conference call by dialing (877) 472-8671 and using conference ID 3745405 approximately 10 minutes prior to the call. The conference call will also be webcast, which can be accessed from the Investor Relations section of FSIC’s website at www.fsinvestmentcorp.com under Presentations and Reports.
