Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 11, 2016, Iridium Communications Inc. announced that its board of directors had declared a cash dividend on its 6.75% Series B Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock of $4.21875 per share, representing a dividend for the period from and including June 16, 2016 through September 15, 2016. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2016, to all stockholders of record as of September 1, 2016.
