Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On August 18, 2014, Iridium Communications Inc. announced that its board of directors had declared a cash dividend on its 6.75% Series B Cumulative Perpetual Convertible Preferred Stock of $5.71875 per share, representing a prorated dividend for the period from and including the date of original issuance (May 14, 2014) through the payment date. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2014, to all stockholders of record as of September 1, 2014.
