OMA reports a 6.9% increase in July 2019 passenger traffic

● | The Ciudad Juárez (+20.5%), Chihuahua (+14.7%), and Durango (+54.0%) airports contributed most to traffic growth |
Monterrey, Mexico, August 6, 2019—Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ: OMAB; BMV: OMA), reports that terminal passenger traffic at its 13 airports increased 6.9% in July 2019, as compared to July 2018. Domestic traffic increased 6.2%, and international traffic increased 12.9%.

During July 2019, domestic traffic increased in ten of our airports, with the largest increases in:
● | Ciudad Juárez (+20.5%) due to increased traffic on the Mexico City route. |
● | Chihuahua (+14.0%) due to increased traffic on the Mexico City route. |
● | Acapulco (+30.3%), benefitted from increases in the number of passengers on the Mexico City, and |
● | Culiacán (+9.3%) as a result of increased traffic on the Mexico City and Tijuana routes. |
International traffic grew in twelve airports in July, with the largest increases in Monterrey (+9.0%), as a result of increases in the number of passengers on the Houston route; and Durango (+130.3%), due to increased traffic on the Dallas route.
In July 2019, Magnicharters started flying the seasonal route Monterrey – Santa Clara, Cuba.
Of total passenger traffic, 99.4% was commercial, and 0.6% was general aviation.
