Nature of Business	Nature of Business MiMedx Group, Inc. (“MiMedx,” "the Company,” “we,” or “us”) operates in one business segment, Regenerative Biomaterials, which includes the design, manufacture, and marketing of products and tissue processing services for the Wound Care, Surgical, Sports Medicine, Ophthalmic and Dental market categories. Our biomaterial platform technologies include tissue technologies, AmnioFix® and EpiFix®, and device technology CollaFix^™ . The Company is focused primarily on the United States but will pursue other individual markets based upon the specific opportunity. The adoption of the technologies may vary depending on each country’s regulations, but the opportunities to help individuals in the different disease states remain similar and large.
