(b) Effective September 19, 2008, Dennis Kim, M.D., Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer of EnteroMedics Inc. (the “Company”), resigned from his position with the Company. The Company announced Dr. Kim’s departure in a press release issued on September 18, 2008, which is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
